Great enviroment but...I need more wires and full racks, gear lights, random cd's and markers, kids toys, makeshift monitor decoupling, make shift chairs, random soldering gear, shoes, baby wipes, records strewn though out the setup...then I'd feel comfortable.

But all in all, great looking setup. I wish majority of the setups started like this instead of all the money spent on Waves plugins vs proper acoustic treatment:rolleyes:
 
my humble set up just the trigger finger that barely works and my laptop, trying to get a korg kontrol 49 and microkorg to add to the set up.
 
LOL, you guys gave me a great laugh with that fake magazine ad:)

Acoustic treatment was my priority and no matter how much money I intended to spend on equipment, I wanted to have that area covered first. It took me probably a month getting all these babies up - but it was well worth it. The sound in the room is phenomenal and mixing is easier than ever.

I just like things being in order and organized, otherwise I can't work. I don't know, maybe something is wrong with me, lol!

Did you make your acoustic treatments on your own?
Or did you get them from somewhere?

As long as the music is dope its enough equipment..

You got some serious dust going on there though.
 
All i have. I'm only 16. As soon as i get another job i'll upgrade with whatever.
Didn't figure that out yet.

lol i know its in my basement, so its super dusty downthere, i gave up wiping down there lol. like once i week i get the dust.

That much dust would drive me crazy.

Just dusted lol .. Records, MPD, and TT is still boxed away in the wardrobe.

How you like your iMac? I luv mine. I have the 21.5" and now I want the new MacBook Pro 13". Also what about the KRKs? Do they sound great just for production, or does your mixes sound good on them too?

Yea ill never go back to PC now mayne. I love my iMac, the next comp ill get will prob be a mac pro so that i can have quad core.

KRK's are great, my 1st ever pair of monitors and my mixing immediately stepped up. I would recommend them to any home producer. Deffo worth the money
 
@noblewordz, yoo do u have alll those speakers set up? like the logitech(if im correct) and those 2 monitors? if soo, did u have to buy a soundcard to enable all them? i ask cuz i have basicly the same setup and i can only use the 5 speakers that came with the logitech, not anymore..
 
Yeah logitec.

I have 2 cards, my onboard card for the logitec (need to get stands though) and my M-Audio card for my monitors (i use that word loosely).

I can run them both at the same time, I think because they use different drivers. So I can watch a movies through the logis and make a beat with the monitors through the m-audio card.

Does your card support a 5.1 system?

yeaa only a 5.1 system,and i got the whole thing pluged in. i need to get a m-audio card im assuming, so i cud plug in monitors aswell.
 
Doesn't have to be an M-Audio card, any soundcard, but you might want to get something suited for making music so you have decent ASIO drivers.
