If it takes years to get great at what you do then how old is a producer supposed to be before he's washed up? I'd rap over a Premo beat anyday and he's well into his 40's but SB couldn't get me to say shyt for him, or the NEW BOYS....lol

I'M A SATISFIED MEMBER OF PMP, but I can't say that his arrangement is irrelevant to someone debating whether or not to join, if one of the main arguments for joining is "look, this big name producer uses it, it must be legit", that argument kinda goes away if the big name producer appears to the potential member to be under an endorsement deal, if he doesn't pay to use the service, its more a matter of, he uses it for free, that's why he's there and not wherever else that also takes away "if your serious you will pay", because he doesn't have that burden, however little that amount would be to the producer of Lollipop, and just from the perspective of the buyer, that can make you uneasy ... AGAIN, I USE PMP, I'M PLEASED WITH IT, but I can see that argument because when I was still contemplating joining, there was always the question in my mind, I see all these testimonials from A&Rs and producers but is this a paid endorsement? ... in the end, I joined under the logic, that I would spend the money on whatever else anyway, and it was worth a try, and once they started the sweepstakes & Ad Revenue Sharing, that definitely added to the value of using regardless of if you can land a placement ... another thing though, I got on there to kind of avoid the rat race, and the more people that get on there the more it turns into a rat race of its own, and early on, I was kinda not into the idea of the big name producers who have a rep and discography to get beats to artists personally on there, because at some point, when it gets to be too much, A&R's will have to rely on familiar names and trusted names to keep them from listening to too much music to make any ... BUT ONCE AGAIN, I AM SATISFIED, the Ad Revenue Sharing is the biggest plus in my opinion

My opinions.

1. PMP is a tool. the problem with some tools, is that some people don't know how to use them. Some tools are not meant for every job or project. I'm not going to use a sledge hammer to fix my computer, unless I want to waste money. Not every tool comes with an instruction manual. PMP is a tool, and if you don't know how to get it to work, don't use it.

2. Do or Die was the sht. I love Po Pimp.

3. The fukc you attitude in this industry will lead you to failure. But if you are making people money, they really don't care. But if you aren't making people money. Shut Up and play your role. But don't kiss ass either. be respectful, but be smart. i don't kiss ass, but I play my role when I need to. My friend and I invented the idea of "Rude Tax" meaning if you are disrespectful, it's cool. It will just cost you more. I'm not going to stress over someones BullSht, I'll just tax them for it.

4. This is not the talent industry, who really gives a crap about talent. talent just means you got potential and are unable to execute. Results are everything, talent is nothing. The results in the RECORD industry are records (songs).
