Much better than everybody excpected! He dropped two singles that didn't do well and he's from new york. Lol!
 
Congrats. Goes to show "hardcore" Hip-Hop can still be successful.
 
if this trashy album sells 100,000, ill take my hats off to the nigga. he's a skill mc, but when it comes to making a good album, he fails imo

lol!!! I ain't dumb. LA Reid went out there and bought all them albums up. Ain't nobody bought 100k of that album in a week.


Now next week's sales numbers will tell the tale..when his sales drop off 98%...then we'll see what really went on!

Haha, glad at least one person know about the Def Jam album puchasing mantra. But that's not to discredit Jadakiss, his core audience that is waiting for his album will get it in the first couple of weeks then he will most likely disappear out of site by the 5th week...over and OUT
 
lol, good for Jadakiss. he'll sell double what flo rida does.
 
I don't trust any sales that come from Def Jam.......
 
I fux witth Jadakiss, but his singles aint really been making to much noise + he's never been the high selling type so LA Reid or Jay-Z prolly have something to do with this, lol. I might pick up this album, but Im probably gonna listen to it 1st cuz of all the bad reviews it got
 
He wasn't doing numbers like that 1st week when he had bigger singles and was more relevant. Not saying it ain't true though. Congrats to dude, maybe a certain audience been looking for that sound.

I personally didn't even know it was out, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a hood classic in the making(mind you I'm saying all this before listening to the album just based on Jada's past trackrecord).

wow are u serious this is one of the best albums since paper trail ...........his singles werent that great but the album has definate classics on it main songs i dont like on it are the singles but outside of tht its a great album .....imho......we had this conversation at work and no one cld name anther album that has come out since paper trial that was even close to hot(with the exception of jeezy) .....maybe u could help out and come up with some fp ..im drawing a blank

I picked my copy up, its not a classic status album, but its a solid release. The intro goes hard, What If is hot, Letter to Big of course, the track with Jazmine Sullivan is definitely dope. Oh and the Luther sample, Things That I've Been Through. Cartel Gathering too, that was hot. The rest of the tracks are ok, nothing very memorable. But I'll be glad for sure to see him do good numbers.
