hahah yess it needs that trumpet to become a chance beat! i really can picture chance rapping over this which made me enjoy the beat even more. The shakers were a really nice substitute for the hats. The sampling on that whistle is on point. I wanted a bit more snare action but thats perhaps preference. Really good job man!

I think the main melody is quite interesting, hi-hats could be better detailed worked though. Clap&kick combination fits well, really catch the vibe. Lovin' the vibe! I really liked that whistling noise or whatever that was in the background. It really made everything come together so well. The synths worked well too, it gave the beat a more atmospheric vibe. The horns were alright, they didn't do much for me. I wish there was a strong bass line under all the instrumentation to fill in the low end. But aside from that this was ethereal.

Track is smooth and that lead is so clean - is that a sample? Horn addition is cool, but it sounds synthesized and maybe could use just a bit more reverb to gel with the rest of the track.

This beat got potential! The main melody whistle is quite catchy. However! the rest of the beat don't go in par with the whistle drums and horns are quite sh!tty to be honest. I'd would change the drum pattern to something that has a nice groove, 808 snaps, percussion and so on. I'd get rid of the horns completely. The pads are ok they do complement the melody. Perhaps not the feedback you were hoping for but I'm just honest and I thought it be waste of such of good melody when it has potential to be really good!
