This is just sad. Show this producer some support.

Funny shet... let's talk about this for a second.....

You say you're a sysadmin? for an IT firm???

Funny you got jokes on peoples 9-5... Because I am in (somewhat) the same field you are in... except I'm a CCNA..

yea, so, that would mean I am making more money than you... and by a lot..

chew on that..

Not taking sides and there is nothing wrong with holding respectable 9-5 but CNNA is entry level crap. The fact that you're talking about having your CNNA like it's a a big thing means that you're a novice in the IT world and most likely not making much. I am an IT manager and I hold several certifications.

I have had my CCNA for 4 years.. I breezed the 640-801 first time..I just needed the paper.

I got OSPF, IS-IS, BGP down pat.. I can get a job as a net ad pretty much anywhere.

If you are knowledgeable as you say.. Then you would know.. a CCNA with steady experience can make as much as a CCNP.. They care more about experience.. The piece of paper just gives me leverage when I go for a higher profile contract.

There aren't too many CCNP's to begin with and the ones that have experience are making high 100k's.. But there are a good amount of CCNA's.. So experience wins out.. My money goes up every 6 months...

So I don't know what you are talking about

You kept bringing up that you are a CCNA and that means you make more money that the next cat with no CCNA.

You're contradicting yourself like crazy. Certifications are icing on the cake, experience and knowing your stuff is what command high pays. You can get a job as a net admin pretty much anywhere? Then why are you working at a verizon NOC? I'm sure there are lots of net admin jobs that will pay you more at better companies with nicer work environments and title.

Why the f*ck are n*ggas talking about jobs now? If this dude has been making beats for over 14 years and hasn't profitted off it obviously he is doing something wrong. Everyone saying his beats aren't bad or that they're good aren't helping anything. All you're doing is TRYING to boost this n*ggas self esteem. If he wants to quit, let him quit. He needs to get some balls and start putting in work. This site's whole community is f*cked up. Everyone knows it is. 50% of the people are hating and the other 50% are just saying whatever to be on someone's good side. Also I've noticed that so many people on here are using words and talking about things such as EQ that they know nothing about. I'm not saying I know everything, but everyone knows what I just said is the truth. No one should be wasting their time trying to raise this dude's self esteem. If he really has problems, don't get on the internet to solve it.

There is a "how to master hip hop" book out there with all the rules and ****? Who the hell sets rules for hip hop? Did i miss something?

It seems like you missed the hole point of hip hop lol.
Hip hop is about innovation...if you didn't know.
hey dummy. i think what happened is you completely missed my point. let me explain again, hip hop has a certain sound that makes it recognizable as hip hop. just like techno sounds like techno, reggae sounds like reggae, and country sounds like country. yes i understand that hip hop is supposed to be versatile but your taking that point overboard. do you see in black and white or something? cmon now its not that hard to understand. smh.

So if we think some of his beats are nice, we shouldn't tell him? This post is garbage, homie. Doesn't make sense at all.

This site is full of posts just like this. I think this site should only be used for other producers to ask questions about hardware or software. Most of the questions people ask on here you could find out if you just googled it. Some people just get lazy and post it. There are some situations though where this site might be yr only hope though.

You kept bringing up that you are a CCNA and that means you make more money that the next cat with no CCNA.

I bring that up simply because I have been in networking for over 7 years and have seen many dudes fail the 640-801... Like, a lot.. So yes, it is a pretty good thing...

You're contradicting yourself like crazy. Certifications are icing on the cake, experience and knowing your stuff is what command high pays.

Isn't that what I basically said?? LMAO

Yes, the cert makes a TON of difference.... if you have 8 years experience and no paper and I have 3-4 and the cert.. Im in there... What is "icing on the cake" about it? It means more than that.

You can get a job as a net admin pretty much anywhere? Then why are you working at a verizon NOC? I'm sure there are lots of net admin jobs that will pay you more at better companies with nicer work environments and title.

I'm getting compensated very well at the moment.. I also have a family of 5 to support so jumping from job to job willy nilly is not an option.

And are you assuming that I am not in transition? Are you assuming that I am growing roots here? Are you planning on staying where you are forever? We are humans, perpetual motion is part of nature..

I questioned your intelligence in your first post... With this post you just nailed my notion home.

deeyou, i won't waste my time with you, bro. you are a lost cause. you are aren't smart enough to question anyone's intelligence. Sorry for taking this thread off topic.
Back on topic.

LMAO @ "IT CONSULTING FIRM"

Yea, are you registered? Because if you aren't, going to your homies house to hook up his wireless router and enable WEP is not considered a "Consulting firm" lmao

75K? you need to slide to the right a littlllllllleeeee bit more homie...

Oh, and BTW... if you have 15 years in IT ANDDDDDDD your own firm for 7...

You shouldn't have to "look up" a Cisco techs average salary.... that **** is pretty much common knowledge.. Because it is the industry standard..

But, I would figure you to not know specifics.. I mean you are a "system admin" .. that's about as vague as you can get... You can be in an office with 5 nodes LOL.. I bet I can subnet your whole building in 45 mins..

C'mon b... get right

LOL!

Dude, I opened my business, hired a few people, paid for college, and closed it down to go corporate before the bottom dropped out of the economy in 2002.

IDGAF about networking or cetrtifications...cuz with my degree and experience, I never needed to...And besides, that's what networking people do, and I'm not one of them...qhat I do is simply lead a team of 30 consultants, and support an organization consisting of 2000 servers, located in 10 locations, on 3 different continents.

So u keep running them network cables, network boy...Leave the managing of Petabytes of data to me.

That's all I'm saying. He's wondering why artists don't want his beats...and it's because in their current form, rappers can't see themselves rapping on them.

feels weird, but I'm agreeing with you.

thing is, I hear a lot of REALLY dope stuff from FP cats, but then I listen to what they say and it sounds like "I don't need nobody, I don't want to work with other people, I know everything there is to know about production/music/sounds, etc...".

fact is, many hits will never come out, because people don't take risks and are not honest enough to themselves to look on the outside for "musical soulmates".
