well...
from the posts I've caught from Chase on here, he drops gems such as "it's about songs, not beats". yet theres plenty of cats on here still on that $50/beat net grindin mentality and wondering why they havent progressed business wise. I've talked to dude a few times over the years, he's madd cool and helpfull. it's the internet, folks shouldnt take everything so serious...
 
Dude what r u saying , I do that 50 dollar grind cuz I don't live n an area that's poppin, nd I got a ****in son to take care of. I been grindin probably longer than u been makin beats.. I done did the **** with puttin hot tracks up networkin but this is the thing I aint in good with big ppl..all the ones I talk to bull****.. All that matters now is if ur in with good ppl.. Aint chase got big relatives? That's y ppl that are wack as **** get placements.. I aint sayin he's wack but who couldn't make a decen record with polos recycled drums cmon now, and for dude saying stay in my lane, my dude wtf would that be?? Do u kno me or what I've done.. Off top ima humble ass dude I could use what I've acomplished to be an ass like dude but I don't.. I could be like oh I need 6k off top since I had hit records and done tracks for so n so, but I'm out here grindin like a mother****er! Say I aint dog, a beat or more a day! 70 thousand myspace friends, poppin on youtube , and sc! All myself, aint no give me ****., I'm still givin deals to dudes on the grind.. I sold a track for 500 with a hook by me, I coulda sold that to ****in warner for thousands dude.. Key thing be humble real ****, hatin dudes, I'm so tired of ppl who are yes men , always agreein w ppl who r on. If u don't grind u aint **** period, don't u ever judge me.. None of u know me.. I aint talkin no more..

I dont think he owes me anything at all he dont owe anyone here anything ,it just why be here on this site when all you do is promote ,throw out lil slick disses about how us people on the forum is lame for conversin with other producers like in real life?(yes he said something to this extent)the main focus of the site is for a environment for producers to converse ,help eachother and keep things(info) circulating ,but on the real i never asked chase for help ,and i never will but i do help others who ask ,i dont ignore people.

i like that keep that **** 100% real a lot of dudes change up because they get there plus but i learned u get ur blessing when u help other's and a person that never helps always me me me me seem to always fall off ive seen clipse and biz markey and little brother all in the same day dudes like super cool u talk to them they like reg people not with nose in the air i really dont care about people like that

rapper and rnb singer are now one in the same
rapper are singing and
singer are rapping
the beats are the same
they both dance and

it has got to the point where these new signers get new ice out chains
for they 1st videos.

my friend, step back, take a second, and breathe...

re-read the statement, I'm talking about a mentality, I.E: what they spend most if not ALL their time dealing with or worried about and then complain about the industry.

dudes worried about saving $3000 for a fantom or a miko and already got like $3000 in cracked software on their computer when they could use that money to fly to those "poppin" areas, network, and hire an Entertainment Lawyer to make sure their business is right when the time comes. If your city or area within 50 miles has radio stations and stadiums/colleges/clubs/lounges then you got no excuse.

The best advice I ever got was: Work SMART, not HARD

Oh how true this statement is ,1 dude hit me up on fp(Myster E) since he heard my stuff and liked it alot and he asked me about a beat at first i was gonna give him a ok track but i gave him 1 of my best tracks at the time out of generousity and i forgot about the whole thing and boom like 4 months later he got Quan(nas protege)and Chaundon on it.lol i was supposed to get some more joints out to him(myster E) for another possible placement but beatblock been hurtin me.lol but i woulda never got that if i woulda been a jerk.rofl
