Young Jeezy’s Business Partner Sues Him & Def Jam For $5 Million In Unpaid Profits

Demetrius Ellerbee claims that Young Jeezy cut him out of the equation. Demetrius Ellerbee, business partner to Young Jeezy, has filed suit against the rapper and Def Jam Recordings, claiming the defendants have failed to share millions of dollars in profits from songs he helped produce and promote.

If you're a successful artist you WILL be sued at some point in you career and it will usually come from the people/companies closest to your situation. Just comes with the territory, mo money mo problems...

yes they have, Artists and companies do this all the time, especially when theres the whole "family and homie" work relaitonship within a company.

as a homie and a guy thats like family, you dont wanna be on someones case when it comes to money, they mustve had some sort of falling out and he's sitting there looking around and realizing that he hasnt got paid for things that he should have.

just gotta have somebody go through Def Jams accounts and not through Jeezy's personal accountants, because jeezy's personal accountants gonna give him the run around to make the numbers work

i hope Kinky B gets all the bread he deserves it.
