who's briankid?

Brian Kidd Produced "Get to Poppin" from RichBoy's album. He also produced "Dust Ya Boots" by Philly's Most Wanted. When you hear both of those tracks for the first time, you'd think Timbo produced them.

Young Buck's "GET BUCK" is his best song to date...

Probably because he went to the king himself for the track. How bout I remade the track in reason...ALL the sounds are there. Reason is a beast. It's cool how they made it sound like the band actually came in and played it.

Am I late??

Cashville's bout to take over this whole ish! Look out for Crackavelli too!

What patch is that brass? I know about the vocal hit patches, but I was thinking like damn, that's a nice brass...

And what about the percussion (other than the kick and snare)?

This is not the best Young Buck song. There are better on his 1st album and on other mixtapes. Its time for him to relese a new album. Ill buy it on the 27th. It is a good beat. It doesnt sound like timbo. He aint built like that.

Quote On The Song Itself "i Need A Beat In This ***** Lemme Call Polow, Mr. Ten-a-key I Still Get Em For The Lo-lo"

Polow Da Don

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search
Polow Da Don (born Polow-Freache Jamal Fincher Jones) is an Atlanta-based music producer who rose to fame in late 2005, early 2006 for a string of hit singles for artists including Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Pussycat Dolls, Fergie, and Kelis. He is also currently working on projects with Young Buck, Kelly Rowland, Young Jeezy, Gwen Stefani, Ciara, Mya and many others. He has created his own label Zone 4 Inc. on which he has several artists signed, one of them being Rich Boy. It has been confirmed both by his MySpace page and by his recent video with Rich Boy that his label is an offshoot of Interscope Records.

[edit] Jim Crow

Polow attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, but dropped out in his freshman year to pursue his aspirations to be a rapper with the group Jim Crow. Polow was later signed to Sony Records with the group, which released two albums, Crow's Nest and Right Quick, in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Polow Da Don began his early career recording at 40 Street Records in Atlanta.

and a lot of sites screw things up the promo cd i have says produced by polow...

"i need a beat let me call polow"

listen to the first verse.

its really not anything to debate or really worth debating. It is what it is Polow did the record...

Peace

If this beat is by polow, then this is good news. I no longer think it's IMPOSSIBLE to succeed as a major producer while biting a legend's style. What we need to accept in this forum is that while we may be original to an extent...we're all influenced by 4 producers, who have proven their styles to be money makers.

Dr. Dre

Chad Hugo

Pharell

TIMBALAND

Polow tha Don is a prime example of a new producer biting (or more, embracing) an established style and running with it. Think about his biggest tracks...

Buttons
London Bridges
Get Buck
Pimpin all over the world (i think)

ALL timbalandesque tracks

There's nothing wrong with being influenced and embracing a style to succeed. The producers I have named have dictated what is commercial, and what sells.

Storch has bitten everybody

Very true...and all of those produers were inspired by someone before them. Inspiration is the way music evolves. You take pieces from everywhere and make something new.

again...what was the patch that you used for the Brass in the remake? I been looking for some really good reason Brass.

Go into the nnxt, and the combos and extras....brass

layer the pattern with the wurlitzer, and mess with the eq's man...bring the lows up and the highs down...mids up a little. It sounds just like it

Interesting. I never mess with the NN-XT for nothing but percussion and sound fx.

I'll have to do that. I mean, unless you just wanna save it and shoot me a patch over! I got some interesting stuff i've made up that we could trade! :)
