Oh yeah, and Sean Price - Jesus Price Superstar comes out tomorrow, they have been hyping the hell out of that album. I cant wait to hear it. Id think that would be one of the better hip hop releases this year.

I wouldn't say those are all the most anticipated but I do like all of those artists in some way.

You guys have to understand that this is XXL Magazine..it's more for mainstream.

and Saigon & Dre both have a better chance at being "mainstream" than Papoose. Pap is good, but how'd he make the list and those 2 didn't?

Speak for yourself hommie I'm waiting on his album. i also do know that Saigon should have made that list becuase he has a shot at releasing one of the best albums of the year. it's said to see such a push behind Pappose because he is OK but he just doesn't have that appeal to me but for some reason Kay Slay thinks he does and he has really pushed the button behind him. i didn't realize Slay had that much pull until he put pap on the team and i saw how he ran with his carer.

the list sucks ass, you cant go by somebody eles list, c'mon people, we all know that list is trash.
 
you are all buggen if you think Dre should be on the list. Dre should NOT be on there because he has been claiming that album was coming out for the longest. until it is confirmed the master is at the duplication house and its leaked to the net there is no reason to take him serious. i think 50 should be on the list though because he makes great albums IMO. his albums sound complete to me unlike many of the albums that come out

Saigon album should be good. I want that song he was recording from the Saibonics youtube video now! I had to rewind it a couple of times to listen to that. The beat is awesome.

I thought that was supposed to come out at the end of 06. But yeah, that list is probably accurate if you base it off the population of people that buy mainstream, along with all the promotion they will get. I'm guessing TI and Lil Wayne will be the top selling albums. I would love to see Detox drop, but like someone already said, Detox has been in the works for so long. Every January gossip stirs up about Detox coming out, but it never happens. I thougt Kanye was supposed to drop this year, I'm curious to see how he's going to come on Graduation Day.
 
Why does T.I. have Dr. Dre on his album?? He's got Scott Storch.
 
I never thought of Eminem being a good producer, I only remember one top of my head, Moment of Clarity.

Practically everything on Encore, Eminem Show, some on 8 Mile and many more. I don't really see Eminem as a good producer - he's ok. I know I'm get going to get attacked for this :D like he's a producer and not a beatmaker and don't have to touch one button yada yada but imo all Eminem does is probably programming the drums - which is arguably the easiest thing to do. All he does is the boom boom bap pattern with Dre's throwaway drums anyway.

Mostly likely he didnt make the melody... but probably had minimal input on it. Most probably all done by his musicians like Elizondo (sp?)
Eminem produced Lose Yourself?? I won't be surprised if Luis Resto and Eminem's buddies done it all. I'm not hating, Eminem is one of my favourites artists and Lose Yourself is an awesome song, produciton and lyrics wise but I just think Eminem gets way too much credit. Yes I know all producers hire guitarists etc....but put Just Blaze, Storch and Eminem in a room with all the equipment in the world. Who will make the best beat?

I think TI might have one of the best albums this year. I've been hearing him on mixtapes and remixes a lot lately. He's one of maybe 3 on that list that promise consistancy, other than Lil Wayne only because I don't think he's capable of elevating his content. I basically think he'll be negatively consistant. I'm expecting the same shyt from The Carter 3 that I heard in the previous Carter albums & Dedication mixtapes. He'll probably just sound a little better.

I wasn't impressed with twista's last album at all. It will be interesting who he gets production from this time around. But he needs to do something to top Kamikaze and Adreniline Rush.

Yeh there are some fare enough comments here with saigon's,talib kweli's & 50 cent's album's, detox nobody is really sure about & BEP are releasing another album at the end of the year so I think that should be mentioned to!.
