"Just trap beats" - meaning that's the vast majority of what they make. I'm not putting trap beats down.
I'm saying people look down on SSO for example cuz that is literally about all he makes. But people don't realize even if he isn't very original because let's face it he really isn't, he still makes some good trap beats, probably some of the best you can buy off the internet.
EDIT: I listened to the vid, holy shit you couldn't of picked a worse song to back up your argument. Remember I'm not saying trap beats don't take skill but the one you posted really doesn't. lol

WHP got a point here. It'll take longer for the player to start with huge flash intros loading. Most people don't have the dollar to pay for huge bandwidth, so the faster the website loads the better. I personally leave the site if I have to wait for some flash to load.
Besides full flash websites are not search engine friendly.

Then make a Soundclick site and put 'em up there with each persons contact info in the description of the beat...
We'll run the charts... we'll all click on each others ish and make one big marketing scheme to hit up other boards promoting our ish. It doesn't matter who sells the most... we just want people to go to the page... and take over the charts! (and get people listening to your music)
beats promoting by yourself... (you can also put a link to your personal SC page next to your song on the BEST TRAP BEATS page... pretty sure it won't be called that...)
Strength in numbers ... or something.
The site master will upload new beats as you make them after they are voted on YEA OR NEA by the page members... (all of my beats get instant approval because it's my idea)
... back to doing taxes.

They could possible bring traffic to the page though.
You just want people on the page, they'll click around and once the songs on the page are running the charts... it's a win win. The page will always have new songs because people will be making songs at different times... so visitors will always have new ish to listen to.
Then there are no more rules... too many rules kill projects. A page with all trap beats at first then filter in other beats that are whatever people want to make. Promote all trap beats for a month first though.
Only thing is... I can't run it. I still want to be the High Priest of Beats on the page with the most weighted vote, lol. I have the Soundclick CSS code and people can paypal me $0.50 a month or whatever the $10 fee averages out to and I'll pay Soundclick to keep the VIP status.
This is great brainstorming that will never happen, lol.
I took down my VIP page because I didn't make enough beats and promoting solo is hella hard... if everybody was contributing beats and promoting at the same time... the page would stay on fire. The write up on the page would explain that the page is a collective of hand picked producers and will always have variety... (after Trap Season).
Hell, we'll run Drake Beat Season after that... we'll have another contest and pick the best beats to put on the page... (mine will be automatically included ... cause it's my idea... I can't be voted off of the island, lol)

actually a good idea u have strength is in numbers as you said and your right those bigger names could give a chance for a smaller name to b heard when be4 they wouldnt take the time of day...and yea solo promotion/beat making is a single/unemployed mans game unless your already buzzing especially now a days its insane lol

I screwed up and said it was a contest... it's not... it's just a Trap Beat review... just to see what people can do.
If enough people make one... I'll put all of the links in a thread and people can bash you or give you the thumbs up.... if people want to run with the soundclick idea... we'll do that.
... but I can't run it. I think its a good idea though, you don't get on it if your song doesn't bang and once you're on it... no guarantee you'll stay on it if your next song ain't fire.
