will a mini mpk2 make sampling easier than just using fl studio with no controllers?

im hopinh akai mini mpk will make it easier to put samples together. is this true? (those of you who have experience with these tools)

just out of curiosity, how would it make it faster?
Well, without it, you would have to place your chops into fl studio, constantly pausing and moving them around back and forth until you find a good rhythm. With an mpk mini, you just program the chops to the pads, and just keep tapping the pads till you find something nice. The couple seconds it takes to tap the pad instead of the couple minutes or so it probably takes to move the chop around, listen to it, then move it around again. Oh, and don't forget the knobs. Instead of searching for the effect and adding it, you can add effects in while playing which cuts down even more time.
