I mean, they used to be the ****. All the way back from CHoices to Most Known Unknown. I mean, evryone can agree that poppin my collar was a HIT.

I ****ed with Pat the hardest though, but even he fallin off. Good Googly Moogly was OK. But that "dont call me no mo, dont text me no mo". I Didnt **** wit that too hard. Now its like wtf happened.

I dont know what happened to Lord Infamous, three 6 was nothing without him.

Gangsta Boo doin her own **** now.
La Chat went solo also.
Crunchy Black Left
Frayer and Lil Wyte doin they thing
I never really listened to chrome

Most of everybody that was in hypnotize camp posse just doing they own thing.

Its only two people left in three 6, juicy j and paul i guess. But im not gone front, there latest Cd "Last 2 Walk" was straight whack. Even the beats were garbage. ANd Juice was known to RIP the beats.

Makes me mad to see Three 6 come to an end like this.

Its like any rappers out there, their first, maybe second and third album are hot. But then they fall off.

Remember "when the smoke clears" that was the ****.

But what im mostly mad at is PAt. I ****ed wit him the hardest out all of HCP. His first couple of CD's, mista dont play was the ****. He was even rappin in jail and was STILL killin it. He got out and came out wit that crook by da book.....i was like iono.

I havn't heard his lastcd walkin bank roll. Imma check it out and see how it is.

Anyone know of any bay area rappers that are just coming out? I need to hear some fresh rappers.

Lol i was wondering what happened too(today)i was like dang they just slipped away after most known unknowns and when crunchy left.lol

Project Pat is one of my fav rappers

and I love how Jay-Z stole his swag and flow on that first verse of Party Life

They were on Yo MTV Raps a few days ago. They pushed the album back because it wasn't ready. The label wanted to rush the project. They were trying to capitalize on the Oscar buzz they had. Juicy stated The Last Two Walk should be released this summer.

Paul and Juicy acting funny with peoples money that's why!! I guess they figured " since we do most of the production and write the hooks we don't need them!!" But each one of those guys added their own flavor, even Lord Infamous!! But I cant front that new song with UNK go hard as hell!!

Does anyone know of any new fresh bay rappers? THAT JUST came out? or at least 1 cd or something. I need something new

if u'r idea of "all the way back" is Choices... u need to go a little further back. lol check out all their **** from the 90's. **** was crazy

i guess im looking for someone like three 6 mafia's old style lol

lol, i was wondering why you were asking for new bay artists in a 3 6 thread, lol...well i dont think theres any that resemble them

if u'r looking for people along the same lines as three 6, alot of cats from the midwest have that dark sound u might be looking for, i don't know about in the bay tho.

they didnt fall off......they just blew up bigger than ever a few years ago......highschool girls never used to know who triple six was

hell alotta yall on this site never heard of three six until semi recently

"three 6 mafia for 12 years we keepin it crunk, fake gangstas from Memphis riding round in my Chevy truck"

This is my area of expertise. I was born and raised right here in Memphis, Tennessee. The home of Elvis, BB King, the death place of Martin Luther King, and of course........the home of 3-6 Mafia.

We have loved and supported them for a long, long time. Before anyone a half a mile outside of Memphis knew of them or would have even cared to know them.

The 3-6 Mafia alot of you guys know today is NOTHING like the 3-6 my city grew to know and love. As some of you seem to know, their sound has changed DRASTICALLY!!!!

If you're fiending for some CLASSIC 3-6 matierial, here are some of their best releases:

3-6 Mafia:
Mystic Styles
The End
Chapter 2: World Domination
When the Smoke Clears (maybe the groups best album as a collective, and the last to feature the original 6 members all on one project)

Gangsta Boo:
Enquiring Minds (SO DAMN CLASSIC)
*69 Best of Both Worlds

Project Pat:
Ghetty Green
Mr. Dont Play (This is the most bought, played, classic, and beloved rap CD our city has ever had. THIS MADE HIM A LIVING LEDGEN IN OUR CITY. IF YOU ARE'T ON IT......GET ON IT!!!!!!!)

I wish ya'll could know the way this city fels about them and the influence they've had on the whole game that they stay so humble about (like how there would be no Lil' Jon without them laying the TRUE foundation of crunk music).

P.S.
If you were referring to the "bay" because you've heard Lil Wyte or Frayser Boy reppin' it, I hope you know they aren't talking about the Bay Area in Cali. LOL They are referring to a area in North Memphis. One of the the most notorious sector of our city.

Hope all this helped. Holla back!!!!!

choices if far from "way back". remember when they had dudes like k-rock, t-rock, and koopsta nicca? remember when they had beef (before beef was cool) with playa fly? remember the song where they're sayin "murda murda murda, kill kill kill"? if you listen closely, they are sayin "murda murda murda, kill bill chill" who is playa fly's father, who passed away afterwards. nappy hurr, gold teef was my sht tho.

Man these fools can't even begin to know who Playa Fly is. I wish I had all the time in the world to explain the full history of 3-6, Playa Fly, Gangsta Black and so on, but it's taken almost my whole 24 years of existence living right here in Memphis in the midst of all this ish to garner all this info. I'd die before I could explain it all......

By the way, anyone else in here from Memphis?
