i never really felt the whole acting black reference but I understand what you're saying. You can tell when someone is fake like that guy from no limit that had golds and **** who's album flopped.

People are who they are though. If you grow up around a certain culture and they accept you I wouldn't consider that being fake.

About the whole golds thing lol every damn rapper from houston I've seen aside from Scarface has golds it seems. I know down here it seems like depending on where you go everyone got them including some females lol...

By the way Paul Wall makes grills and has made many of them for half of the Texas rappers you see. He's not fake. He grew up around what you see from him.
 
Paul Wall? My Boss went to school with him..Texas A&M I think..or was it highschool..not sure..says he used to always come over his neighbor's house to make beats on Fruityloops...go figure

What does a criminal record or doing dirt have to do with being fake? I said Wiggs is fake because it's a personal opinion I'm entitled to. Acting urban and hip has become mainstream now. It's gonna take more than a few years for some to master the culture. Like someone stated before you can tell the one's where it's natural and it was part of their environment and the ones who jumped on the bandwagon after. I never heard that kid from Swisha house but I have enough innate soul to realize he was natural with it. I know every white kid aint on the Rick Rubin tip but white kids who imitates Blacks have to be scrutinized first. Some get ghetto passes, some get em revoked. There are Blacks with no ghetto passes also. I live this culture that these rappers tell you about so I make my own judgements.I experienced those Fed magazine hustlers firsthand that so many rappers today read about and emulate. I dont let a rapper authenticate an artist. That's why I never bought that 50/G Unit crap. Many of these rappers are signed strictly for monetray purposes. Real G's get indicted or they're dead. The smart ones change their lives, and keep a low profile.
