which site is better to join dirty south beatz or todays beats

i wish i could talk to terrance fleeming face to face, so i can spit in his face, and dent his face
 
But seriously though,do not let anyone on this site try to put you down cause you wanna join these sites.Honestly if you do you will learn so much and save so much time and energy and learn the basics especially if you have no prior knowledge.That's like telling a nigga who just got Pro Tools learn it on your own without reading a book or using Cd rom Tutoriols.Honestly the the tuturiols on todaysbeats are very good for anyone at all levels...........And thats the mother****in realllllllllllll!!!!!!!

im not saying learn it without anything...read the manual and apply your own knowledge, looking up on **** u dont know. Theres no need to pay for something u can find in a manual or on the internet for free. I dont even think it would be quicker. And its definetely more useful learning it yourself because your finding your own way of working it instead of someone elses.
 
I dont agree,to read a manual and actually see someone done something is much easier.I will alwzys use Pro Tools as an example.When i got it i read th manual but i was lost until i got a cd rom tutorial then things began to happen.Seeing someone do something is always better then u can take what use or apply it and extend with your insight.Thats my opinion but i respect your comment.

Ok do you all think this guy from todaysbeats paid for a site to tech him all he knows,I don't think so.....
I understand we all need alittle guide sometimes but when the infomation is on this site and on the internet for free why pay for it? oh wow his site is cool and I am gonna be a VIP whoopee.....

This site we have people giving us free links to beat making videos and making there own How to videos to share with us.we even have people nice enough to share kits or makes kits and share them.Just search FP and you'll see what I am talking about

but if thats the route you wanna take paying a mouthly fee too learn then what ever works for you

mehh, i spose it works for some people - guide-wise, motivation-wise or whatever it may be.

coz i remember some shiit tony robbins used to say - why he charges so high to go to his motivational conventions. his logic is that when people take the effort to pay a *significant* amount of money to get something, they'll work extra hard to get it, and most of them will try to stick to it ie/if those ppl really wanted to get motivated, they'll pay for it, regardless. ive got nothing (much) against the great man mr robbins, but i dont agree with this shiit. but hey, it is working for some people and they're happy.

the only trick now is to know whether you're *that* kind of person or not. heh
 
30 bucks wont kill to see how it is for a month.....if it doesnt work cancel thats all..........................Simple!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said... I don't think either site is worth the money. There are plenty of guides and tutorials on the net for free. Todaysbeats tutorials (4 cd-roms worth) are starting to get heavily bootlegged on the net as well. You just have to know where to look. :) I think you're better off exploring on your own and when you get stuck just ask questions. I personally don't believe in guides, but if you do... do you. If you don't have an ear for it... you just don't. No guide is going to give you that.

hahah I dunno about lowest but yes its not highly Recomended I am sure,like a a post above states the Protools DVD for $39.00

Now thats understanable,least its not no monthly fee
 
There is always something you can learn from watching others. I didn't know what the FLAM setting on REASON did until I watched one of Terrence's free tutorials...

I wouldn't have paid to learn it though... one day I would've went to the help file and found out on my own...

I have a screen recorder program, Pay me $30 bucks and I'll show you how to make beats...
 
with all this talk i doubt any of you guys are as good as terrance!!!! Im calling you out!!!!!!Thats like saying who i wanna learn play basketball MJ or Pippen..Sorry to say Terrnace seems to be on another level.If im wrong prove it

dblp - anyone who responds with "do it yourself!" or "why do you need someone else" is probably not a producer you should be taking advice from anyway. Any producer on this forum that says they have never learned something from watching someone else work or by listening to someone else's production is straight up lyin. The fact is that the Todays Beats tutorials might not be the best film quality, etc. and you can say you dont like dude's voice ... but the tutorials are dope - even for us veterans. I copped them to see what was up and was suprised to find a few good nuggets in there. Stop hatin people. Y'all are just jealous because he made a killing on tutorial videos and you didnt.
