which site is better to join dirty south beatz or todays beats

i want to become a platinum member. which has better prod tips and tutorials. i make east coast beats. or is there any other alternative. i am willing to pay 25 a month, but can only join one. lemme know
 
are you serious? what happened to experimenting on your own? The music is in your own mind and ears. You don't need a guide for that.
 
I DO BUT EVERY PRODUCER SUDIES UNDER ANOTHER (I.E KANYE DID UNDER NO I.D.) AND HES A MONSTER RIGHT NOW. I DONT HAVE A LOT OF TIME OR FUNDS TO BE IN THE STUD SO A LITTLE HELP IS OKAY. I M NOT ASKIN FOR A STYLE TO RUN WITH. I GOT MY OWN MIND FOR THAT. SOMETIMES IT HELPS JUST TO SEE SOME USE A FEATURE HAND ON INSTEAD OF READING IT IN A BOOK ESPECIALLY FOR SOOUND.

I see exactly what you're saying on the kanye example, but there's a difference. Kanye didn't go to NO I.D. and say show me how to make a beat. It was more like "Kanye you should bring the hihats down a little and use a little more of the sample here". Things like that. You can get all of that right here. Make beats, then ask questions. Get reviews on your track, etc.

Now I'm not saying what todaysbeats or dirty south beatz are offering isn't good. What I'm saying is it's not worth being a "paid" service. You could probably get more help going to a GC or something and watch people making beats on the spot.

I don't get it Jiggasaw, how are you going to tell him that it's not worth $25 or whatever to learn how to use the software? A lot of people don't have the time or patience to sit down and read a manual, and a lot of people are starting out with no knowledge of how a beat is made. Todaysbeats is a great site to learn, if you're using Reason or Cubase. He takes you through the making of different beats, and you catch on, you start to understand what makes a track unique, you start to get a feel for what you're doing. You're not just stuck wondering where they got that funky sound for whatever song.

Todaysbeats is a great site if you're going to subscribe anywhere, it really shows you how to use your software properly.
 
Is Terrence Flemming the guy on Today's Beats w/ the southern accent...?
 
warbeats.com is free and he has some good tutorials on there. he works with fruity but you should be able to apply the ideas
to what ever your using.

yeah there's nothing wrong with learning by reading and studying others...everyone's done it from the beatles to dr dre, would be money well spent...there's some stuff about beats that might help you on my site.

just because kanye had NO I.D u need to waste money on tutorials? learn yourself, lazy american. You learn things better without being told what to do anyway. You could diffuse a bomb being told what to do step by step but that dosent make u a bomb disposal expert. Uve gotta master ur own trade.

wow, i thought this was the newbie section. i ask a question to get some good replies or answers. i dont rember the subject of my post saying: I need the opinion of some dumb@ss loser who prolly idolizes the blackeyed peas or the pussy cat dolls or whatever sh@t you listen too. Maybe that sh@t is even your own music. some people read for comprehension, i guess you don't. hey why don't you google search a product called focus factor. take that before you read so you can understand the tpoic and stay on key for the reply. thank you to all thosse who offered good facts and opinions. i appreciate it.

This is exactly what you asked for, someone elses opinion. Just cause you dont like it doesnt mean you gotta freak. If you want a specific person's opinion, ask the person. If you open somethng up to an open forum, expect all sorts of responses and live with it. Just pick and choose who you wanna listen to, no need for all the insults and hostility.

anyway, like I said before, www.todaysbeats.com is a very good site. they have some new videos there called "Study Hall: for begginers as well as new videos regularly (usually once a week) for all levels of production

i wasnt trying to offend you, and after all whether you choose to pay for tutorials and videoes etc is up to u. Im a beginner too and I guarentee u I will ask a question like this in the near future lol maybe about recording vocals or something I dont know about yet...I just try to listen to what people say. If you thought i was just bitching then thats fine but dont be too quick to assume. I did actually give u some advice there, it wasnt all criticism
