Which one should I get.???

Hey guys,

I want to upgrade my soundcard, but my question is would it be better to get a firewire interface or and good soundcard? Can they do the same thing or is there a big difference between the two. If so than what is the difference? I have a Audigy 2 Z and I want something better, but won't brake my bank. Thanks for the info!!!
 
M-Audio's Delta 1010-LT is about the cheapest piece that'll do what you want.

Not sure on the $$$, but I think it's in your range...
 
both versions of the 1010 are in your budget. the lt (the one without the rackmountable breakout box) is $200 and the normal one is $400.

I saw the E-Mu's 1820m for $319. I've heard it's a good card, but what do you think Massive?
