I use DEX 3 LE. It's simple and gives me everything that I need

What I like about DEX 3 LE (DEX 3 has it too, but DEX 3 LE is free), is that it uses pulselocker which gives me a ton of tracks.
I plan on getting a Pioneer DDJ-SB2 and then upgrading to the full version.

I don't anymore but I used Traktor when I was DJing. I only produce now.

Ableton has always been my go-to because of how versatile it is and being able to customize almost everything, the only downside is that it needs an improved library to select songs on the fly.

Started with Virtual DJ. Moved onto Serato. Now Traktor has my soul.

I'm interested in Ableton, because from what I've seen and heard, it is the best for true performance (as in, combining virtual DJing with synth and instrumental techniques and "live production")...

I don't really do a lot of digital/virtual DJing (I'm using CDJ's mostly), but I have used Traktor and find it fun and easy.

Have used traktor in the past but prefer not using any software

It's probably because I used it first, but Traktor is my favourite. I like the way the effects work, even though they aren't as powerful as effects in a DJ mixer.

If I ever get to the point of playing a live set, it'll be Ableton all the way.
