Which audio interface is better?

I need a good interface to hook up up my M-Audio Studiophile AV 40s, i need something i can use for a long time, soon i will upgrade my monitors in a few months maybe.
Soo i need a good one which will last me, would get KRK Rokit RP8 or Yamaha hs8.

Mainly i need it to connect up studio monitors, but in the future recording vocals or instruments would be used maybe..
[h=1]TASCAM US 144 or FOCUSRITE SCARLETT 2I2[/h]Both look good tbh, best ones i found in the price range.

Also can i connect trs to trs cables on my av 40s.
Like put trs in the interface and monitors, ive heard rca is not the best to use.....

This isn't really an answer to your question; just advice since I've used AV40s I got for free in mixing before (they're now the speakers for my shower). Make sure you compensate for the serious lack of low end on those things. It wasn't exactly the best fix, but I loaded up an EQ preset on the master track to boost the bass and took it off when I exported a project.
