What's the Tropical House instrument?

It;s a xylophone but what is it called? The one that Kygo, Bearson, Thomas Jack uses?

I've gotten close by using tropical bells with a natural sounding flute and a high pitch pluck/flute or bell that emulates a blowing noise. Also you might considering rolling your notes or use an arp in places.

I checked this before, the instrument is defo a xylophone not a marimba.

well I respectfully disagree - they look the same to most folks but sound very different; i.e. he could very well think he is using a xylophone

the xylophone is much more brittle in tone than the marimba which tends to be more rounded, which is what this sound is

If you have Nexus, there is a really nice factory preset you can use. Open Nexus, press Classical and scroll down and find WW PanFlute
