What's the most obscure way you flipped a sample?

I've been trying to get away from just cutting a sample or looping and wah-lah Beat made. anyone try using any crazy effects? If so what kind? Not trying to bite styles just trying to get some tips or ideas as to what can be done. I feel like I've hit a wall. I use FLstudio12 for my daw with a mpk49. Just in case there are some FL users here who can give more detailed tips.
 
Thanks for the replies. I'll try reversing some see how they come out. Do you count your beats before you reverse it?
