Whats a "Good Dirty South VST"?

In my plug-in manager for Sonar, I have a Menu Layout for a "dirty south minimum" set-up, and in it I have AudioRealism ADM (808/909/606 + drum sample player), Predator, BLUE, and Dimension Pro (with all the Digital Sound Factory expansions for bread and butter sounds).

I can't imagine needing more than that for any track, though finding a friend that plays guitar goes a long way as well.
 
Nexus 2 is one of my favorites vst to use for dirty south beats

there;s no such thing as dirty south vst's... when they make vst's they make for all genre's feel me.. so just download all the vst's ppl use and go through them and look for dirty south sounds... [ ni fm8 , sylenth , fire bird, purtiy,] and if u want the lex luger orch hits and brass download sound fonts...
 
refx nexus2, hyersonic2 is real good over used but real good, purity pretty much any real synth heavy vst plugins will do...the horns in all three of these plugins are really good for dirty south type beats
 
Make your own big dirty brass, by using good samples and fx, tweek a little in your sampler and look for the sound you want
 
these guys have some good input....i came across z3ta and i must say that this is a good synth also try firebird i think its called
also if your not trying to pay...since u want to skate around the legality of getting good quialty plugins another alternative would
be to download the demo/free trial versions of the commercial plugins and use direct wave in fl studio to copy the presets u want
in your case it would be brass
 
Grab a workstation vst, i own East west Goliath, Big fish audio Rig, and Vir2 vi one. Goliath has a lot of amazing live instruments like pianos, guitars, strings, brass, etc. But is lacking in the synth category.

Big fish audio rig was a let down. It has some good sounds but dont expect it to be your go to synth for every Beat.

Vi one has some great Grand Piano sounds but is lacking in most other categories.

Ive messed around with Nexus, that's another dope 1

Still havent gotten my hands on Halion Sonic yet but ive watched a few demo videos and it looks decent

Orchestral Sounds & Synths/Arps: Nexus
Arps & Leads: Purity
Orchestral Sounds: Philharmonik

Definitely my 4 favorite VSTs to use on Dirty South/Trap type beats.

I needs sounds

Hey I am just now starting out on making beats using Fl studio, I am looking for the best sounds to use for trap beats, not just Hits, I am looking for what string that are used? can anyone tell me what VST this would come from
