I was thinking of doing a video showing my whole process. From finding the sample, to chopping it, to processing it, and all the way up until final mixdown.

This might be the jumpstart I need.

don't get me wrong i can count notes and tap and sh*t...and i know yall gonna hate me for this but i use virtual dj. its almost always as accurate as mixmeister bpm analyzer (yeah i use that too) and i can also speed up the sample and raise the pitch... so why not???

Nah, man. No hate. Whatever works for you. As long as the final product is dope.

i just drop the sample in FL Slicer and it tells you automatically.

but alot of times i dont even bother worrying about the tempo, i'll just chop and adjust the tempo as i go.
