Tap tempo in FL Studio FTW!

For the samples without the drums, it comes down to counting beats (1 and 2 and 3 and...)

Also, you're not confined to using the samples original tempo. You can speed/pitch it up/down. It's totally up to you.

yea samples without drums you just have to count notes and juz really have an ear for it....

juz like so_r3as0nabl3 said... you're not confined to the original tempo... changing the tempo helps me all the time.... and on top of that it soundz better once you throw ur kickz n snarez on it

Tap Tempo is a function in FL that allows you to tap using your Midi controller or keyboard or computer keyboard i believe for that matter, to tap along with the song or sample and it will calculate the BPM's for you. Once you tap for a few bars and you see a consistent number right click on the check and that tempo is locked in for whatever you are about to start.

I think thats a decent description...feel free to edit fellas.

Peace.

I'm white ... And can use tap tempo... That says it all really.

Ableton Live, baby. Just load it up in there and the tempo is automatically counted down to the closest 0.01 BPM.

i tap tempo with my mouse, i never lock it thru there cuz i do my bpm all crazy...so i do a buncha math n ****...but when i tap im usually within 1 bpm...all u gotta do is tap on the snares quan

F'real? Man, I couldn't imagine finding the tempo any other way, lol.

if its fl i just get a solid loop of like 1 or 2 bars and fit it into the tempo it sounds best how i want it then i chop it up. its basically just being able to count the bars not so much finding the tempo if you got the bars chopped in rythym then the tempo can be what ever you want. mpc

Tap tempo all the way. I've used that mixmeister program but it isn't always accurate.

when you make your chops in recycle. you can set the L and R locators around your loop, and it'll tell you the original BPM'S.
