What synthesizer does Paul Allender from Cradle of Filth use? Cradle of Filth is a symphonic Black Metal band for those who never heard of Cradle of Filth.

woah I haven't heard this name in 5 years :)

I used to play in a metal band in my home town Marseille (south of France) called Throner and the rest of the band talked a lot of Cradle of Filth - I don't know about your question though sorry :)

Take care

ps: could you resize your signature image please? 400 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall max THANKS!

I should have known it was a KORG since many rock bands use KORG. I was to lazy to look at pics of the band playing live lol.

I will resize my signature.

EDIT : Crap. I don't have my graphics programs on my PC anymore. Guess I will have to get rid of my signature pic. :(

Don't you know? The swastika is the symbol that all wannabe hardcore banger bands use to look cool!

Haha, just like hip hop kiddies throw gang signs and try to Crip Walk?

I've been popping since I was about 16, and, every time I dance, some idiot always comes up to me and asks me if I can Crip Walk. I simply say that I have no desire to get shot. That shuts them up.

the sticker seems to be saying "something + something = nazism"

i would imagine that it is actually *against* nazism

although I am just guessing

you know, those dudes are crazy in the head...

i wouldn't even be surprised to see virgins/babies/cute animals crufied to a swastika by those dudes

but most rock/metal bands use the triton

yeah well i dunno about the triton in all rock bands, i was in a black metal band and used the microkorg... but nooo, the lead singer didnt like it.

so he "kicked" me out.

soon after i left the rest of the guy broke off from the band and reformed another band and hired me again haha. and the singer of the last band reformed his group but everyone thinks they suck now.

all hail synths! they make every band sound better (if you use em right) :)

oh and im actually trading in my microKORG in for the alesis micron and im also going to get an ION to go with it and a korg EMX-1 as my beatbox :)

ive been waiting for 2 and a half years for someone to bring this thread back to life. thank you for your great service today sir.

damn i just put a report on whoever that last one was thinking i hit reply... F%&K F$#K F$#K!!!

anyway what i was trying to say was that i figured id just say that not all metal bands sue workstations. I mean im not a workstation kind of guy anyway. Im more of the "use several different synths" sort. Workstations are too much for me where as alot of good synths cost half the price of workstations and are better for real time performance (in my opinion of course) I guess if I ever decided to get a workstation, i'd concider the Alesis Fusion which seems to have a reasonable price and from what i hear has more sonic capability then the tritons. But I need to look more at it.

Cheers to Synths!

Swastika is originally from india.
Biters from the nazi era took it and flipped it.

isnt Paul the the guitarist? yeah he is. At this moment, the current keyboardist is a chick. SHe is using the triton studio and a kawai stage piano... But prior to the chick was MARTIN POWELL, who has been in the band for awhile. for his performances in small venues, he uses the triton.. For big concerts with more stage room, his set-up is a a midi controller hooked up to a ROLAND xp-80, and a Kurzwiel k2000.

I myself have played in a death metal band. Thats why i bought the fantom...

sheesh I wish I could only use one keyboard. I have to use 3 at every practice because of all the sounds I go through for each song. But hey oh well.
