I'm sure this topic has been posted on a billion times but Im just now jumpin on the train.
Getting very sick of making beats in Logic pro 7 on my computer. It's time to get an MPC. But what should I get? I'm not looking for it to be the centerpiece of my studio. I have Logic and Protools. I don't want any of the new Numark-Akai ish either (maybe the 2500 would be cool though?). So it's come down to the 2000, 2000xl, 3000, 3000LE, or 4000 (the white one, not the blue one). MPC 60's look cool but prolly a little too outdated for me.
I'm looking to make beats, program drums, sample records, chop shit up. Get that old Illmatic sound plus some new bells and whistles maybe too. What's got the best usability/functionallity? Which one's got the best FX without going overboard and just getting confusing?
:banghead:
Thanks Guys
