what kind of piano can i use with a talk box.
any special kind...?
Or would sum cheap 1 4rm best buy work as good as sum other expensive keyboard...

ps. i have midi controller and reason 4 but i dnt think i can use it 4 dat u think so...?

Yamaha DX100 is what most of your favs probably use (Roger Troutman, Teddy Riley, etc) but you can also use any Programmable Analogue or Digital Keyboard with a talkbox... Minimoog Model D (Roger Troutman early years) Minimoog Voyager, Korg MS2000, Ensoniq ESQ-1 (Roger Troutman II), Yamaha CS1X (DJ Snoop), Yamaha AN1X, Korg Mono/Poly, Novation Bass Station, Novation Nova II, Korg MicroKorg (Terry Troutman), Korg R3, Quasimidi Sirius, Yamaha Dx7, Dx11, Dx21, Dx27. Also a midi controller with Reason and the proper sound is fine.

The DX100 is a piece of junk (terrible durability) and is now totally overpriced because everyone wants one cause their idols used it. IMO, cause of that go a different route.

BTW... you need a Sawtooth patch with some editing or similar sound to get that typical sound you want. Hope that all helps.

Reason would be fine...you might want to invest in an audio interface and a mic to record
 
yea i got all that 2 a mobile pre usb interface and a audio technica studio mic...
so with all that i should be gewd then...?
 
yup get yourself a talkbox and an amp or buy a Rocktron Banshee (talkbox/amp combo). Banshee is inferior spec wise to most pro style boxes but can more than do the trick for you and is all in one unit. When/if you wanna upgrade I'll send you to the right place.
