This is horrible...
I've been using Cubase for about 10 years now and this is the first I've seen of this. Try it out:
There should be complete silence. But this brings a to me. I get total comb filtering when I play the two back with one 180 degrees out of phase. This is HUGE mixing problem while you producing.
Does anyone have a solution to this? I've also posted this in the Cubase section on Home*:*Welcome to Steinberg*|*http://www.steinberg.net/.
I'm using Cubase 6.0.3 with EMU 1212m.
P.S.: When the VSTi is mixed down it seems to be fine, I also tried different sample rate and get the same issue.
EDIT: Also tried this on my Windows XP partition with Cubase 5.5.2 and I get the same thing.

- Create an instrument track with some plugin on it like Massive but make sure the Reset via gate is checked off (whatever plugin you use the oscillator must be set to phase 0 degrees for this to work).
- Set your loop locators and mixdown the instrument track without ANY plugins anywhere.
- Import that audio track you exported and align it with the MIDI of the instrument track.
- Phase flop (the "0" with the line through it icon at the top left of the mixer channel) and play it back.
