Wave to SND Converter for AKAI MPC3000

Has anyone discovered a good software program that will convert wave files into .snd files for the Akai MPC3000 without any problems?

wave file to send files?

Example-dragging kicks and snares off a wav cd onto a floppy? You can't just insert the floppy into the MPC after dragging and load the sound?

Does the chicken program like make it an MPC compatible or something?
 
Yeah. The Chicken Systems program is nice. But, it's limited and if you only want to convert for the MPC3000 or 2000, then either MPC Editor or MPPGMMaker would be enough. Finally, they only cost about $30 Max. When you move up the Chicken Systems ladder, it could cost you about $200.

but that chicken sys program is FREE and u can convert to any audio form
 
Doesn't the Chicken Systems freebie impose limitations on what you can do...what you can save?

I'm just guessing, but I think it's a teaser to get you to buy the Pro version.
