Vst for distortion?(examples included)

I wonder, is there a vst that makes samples sound more warm or more metallic or....

Some examples:
vocal sample at 0:12


vocal sample and guitar (0:00 , 1:15)

1st one sounds like a vocoder

2nd one sounds like flanger with fast mod and high level on the depth for the vocal

guitar sounds like a boss metalizer which there are emulations of

one more question:
in the song above I think the main sound I hear is sampled voice with some kind of filtering

how can someone make this effect?
generally which distortion vst's whould you recommend?

i would say a saw with high pitched vocal sample and noise but i am not sure
maybe a phased saw or something.
