Use Your Rock Band / Guitar Hero Drum Kit as a Midi Controller!!

I've just about locked down the whole process, if anyone wants me to throw together a step-by-step say so... and I'll post it in the Hardware - Midi Controllers Sub Forum

hey, i'm really interested in this. i've been looking for a way to get my guitar hero: world tour (xbox 360) drums hooked up as a midi controller for months now. i'm still a bit confused on what to do, and would love a step-by-step.

i've been trying to do this ...i'm trying to get it to work in pro tools...but, i read that i needed to allow a setting for midi to play through my qwerty keyboard first...before i assign the midi to the rockband drums..

so, if anyone can help me do this...i would be really grateful...thanks
