use arpeggio on motif with voices from my vsti?

I love the arpeggiator on my yamaha motif but I also love this alicia's keys plugin I bought that's on my pc. Howdo I enable my computer to sense when I use the arpeggiator to play the pattern on my plugin on the computer. I already have a midi hook up. But it only senses the chords I initially press to start the arpeggiator, not the actually pattern that gets played. I use FL studio for the plugin.

Sorry I can't help too much but.... I would logically think the arp is just sending the midi notes... unless it's engine isn't related to the midi being sent out, it doesn't work as is?


The only helpful thing I can mention here is perhaps using an arp plugin like Catanya.
