I recently made this beat in the rnb/rap style of Ty Dolla Sign.
I would very much like to hear your feedback on the beat.

The beat is made in logic.

Instruments =

- Sampled drums and drum loops, cut up and rearranged.
- 3 types of key instuments played on midi keyboard.
- 808 bass made in ES2 in logic.
- Samples strings, cut up, repitched, rearranged and given flanger effekts.
- fx's and synth for transitions.

Thanks for the feedback. I can feel smooth and chill rnb sounds from the beat. I think it's better for vocal than rap or better for maybe singing kind of raps. Mixing is clean and 808 bass hit good notes too. It would be nice to hear some more of main melody on the chord progressions. Nice work.

Thank you so much for taking time to give me feedback ? appreciate It. I agree, it mostly calls for a melodic vocalist. I will definitely recheck the melody mix.

Very good job. Loved the bass work and the switch-ups. The beat sounded very cohesive despite all the different soundscapes. That is definitely not easy to do.

Thank you! Appreciate it. Will check out you soundcloud.

Really smooth work on this. Definitely feeling the direction you're taking. I got lost listening to it, all works so perfectly together!

You can feel free to disregard my opinion but me being into more minimalist beats I feel it would made the song so much more sophisticated and interesting if you took some elements out, it would also make it much easier for a singer to flow on. For example at 0:31 if you just leave the drums and bass at the drop and take out all the synths and keys ouuuu it would be so fire. That drum pattern is crazy. Plus transitioning into that vibed out part that comes after would make it flow so much better imo!

This sounds great. I definitely don't think it is too busy. I think it still sounds great for a singer. Though I do think you could turn the volume down on the synth chords a bit. That would help. Great drums and catchy melody. Nice job.

Could you return feedback on my beat?

thank you very much for the feedback :) will have this on my mind.

Good vibe good beat. Sounds professional and I am feeling it. Good job.

Thank you. This was a gray zone to me. Was not sure if I should put it in the rap or the Rnb section, but I mostly made the beat with a rap style melodic vocal in mind, so rap it was! :)
