great advice here. can someone correct me if im wrong, but iv found that for a major scale you just go 3 whole steps, a half step, 3 whole steps, and another half step. and as mentioned before for minor scales flatten the 3rd 6th and 7th note

So by flattening the 3rd, 6th, and 7th notes in a major scale, are we getting the natural minor? Or is that the Aeolian Mode?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm a douche. I've just been reading a bunch of theory sites and apparently a ton of them are wrong. So yes, flattening the 3rd, 6th, and 7th, create the pure minor scale. Thank you man.
