TRS Cable Vs. RCA

Whats up ya'll I was wondering this the other day, I've got my mpc hooked up to the back of my mbox2 by 1/4" RCA plugs. Now if I had the mpc plugged into the mbox by TRS Cables would it make a difference in the sound any?
 
nope. Each out besides the headphone out are unbalanced.

YES SIR.
You sure would, you would have a more open, balance, full sound. experiment with it and you'll hear the differents. I always use balance cables on my MPC2500, but i'm not if you have balance ports on ypur MPC1000.

Don't even know what kind of mp you have. Balanced would be cleaner and a louder signal. Spdf is also good. 500, 1000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000 have balanced outs. 2000/xl/mcd, 60/II are unbalanced.
 
I don't know about the rest, but the 1000's outs are unbalanced....
 
Balanced vs. unbalanced signals in a home studio environment with relatively short cables and already loud signals (as is the case with any MPC) probably won't make any audible difference at all.
