i met timbo... hes a cool dude... talked with him for like 15mins... there was one other guy there with him who looked weird...

This is real. He reached out to dude and just let him know like "yo, let's squash all this, it ain't nothing".

It's called being men. It was senseless, and Timbo reached out to the dude in his times of trouble and squashed it.

It's admirable. Alot of people don't know how to be men like that, and put mindless stuff behind them.

Scott was out there living the hollywood life. He was stuntin HARD. With the plane, and the Bugatti, and Yacht, etc, etc.

See the thing is, you can't stunt that hard in the music industry. You can't be all out there living AT or ABOVE your means, cuz what goes up, must come down. And you still have to be able to make them payments when you ain't got no hits coming in.

Unfortunately, Storch is learning this lesson PUBLICLY. You can't be trickin off Bentley's to Lil Kim and Paris Hilton and not have it come back to bite you. You can't be refusing multi-platinum projects because artists won't pay you a Timbo amount of money , or won't get you a private plane to travel in (Christina A.).

Dre's got to be one of the richest hip hop producers. But you don't see him all up on Cribs, all stuntin with the fleet of Bentley's and Ferrari's and yachts, etc.

One of the greatest lessons I ever learned in my life was to live BELOW your means. I make a nice amount of money to be 30, but I live like I make HALF that. So whatever life throws at me, be it up or down, I got room in my lifestyle to handle it.

Storch just needed to slow it down. I think he got that message now. He's working on some stuff. I just kinda got this "feeling" :)

Good on ya Tim!

I had a feeling Storch would ultimately get bitten in the ass by his superflous spending habits....

That was pretty big of Timbo. That's the way it should be. When you get a certain age... kid ish makes you look hella stupid. It's like... lead by example or something. A lot of people look up to Timbo so it's good that he showed that he does have a side that hip hop doesn't like to glorify.

The real grown azz men can squash ish and not let outsiders keep stuff going. Dre and Cube, Jay and Nas, Buck and 50's enemies... etc.

Hip Hop will / does have a lot of mf's over 25 acting like they're 15 though. Talking ish on YouTUBE, on radio... for nothing. People make to a place where they are visible to damn near everyone in the hip hop community and then... and only then... do they decide to act an ass. It's a shame. I just listen to the songs, I never get tied up into their lives because my life is more interesting than theirs to me.

but...

I can imagine Storch saying "Give it to me, Give it to me..."

Timbo "What?"

Storch "Some money... you know I wasn't built like that..."

Also, why hasn't the most known white rapper and most known white producer Storch hooked up yet... there has to be some kind of gimmick in that combo they can exploit...

I like the beats Storch did for Method Man though, Meth said Scott Storch didn't charge him anything for the beats...

Because I don't think the WHITE POWER collaboration album would go over too well.

^^hahaha I don't know...probably not...but i know that new timbo/flo-rida song ripped off umbrella...i thought tim was a lil more original than that

Timbo sounds like a good dude. It's all record sales IMO. These are grown a** men and they making money like grown men should, aint nothing GAY about that.

All this is so soft. Storch owes Tim (mentor) all of his success and should have never retaliated with the wackest "beef" track ever created (lyrically and production-wise).

It's good Timbo can stop the thing he started. He still sounds pretty big headed though - "you can't be me", "there's only a handful of superstars", etc. Sounds more like a publicity stunt to me. I could care less what happens between these people, since I have nothing to do with them right now, but I don't like it when people say they doing something when they really mean something else. If this was all "friendly" competition, why was Timbo going at Storch the way he was so publicly?

What?

Are you telling me scott doesnt have 1 friend? Damn, thats sad.

its amazing how the media perceives the word beef......and everyone jumps on it trying to hype up the word........omg wake up nuh bloodclaaat

Kinda like how in the past couple of years people take the word "hater" entirely too far and use it in a manner that's just wordplay, no real meaning behind it they just say it cause it's the "in" thing to say. Kinda like how all of a sudden everybody started saying One Love, then just Love. They don't know what it really represents and it actually used to mean something. Not just a word thrown around loosely. Kinda lame. (Not personally attacking anybody, just pointing out the plain truth)

It's about time.

Everybody saying that it's "Pussy ****": You are retarded. Try being down lots of money, having a former friend turn on you, and being ****ted on by the press. Grow up.

lmao @ this. i think dr. dre is who people consider to be storch's mentor.

it's good that timbo reached out to scott storch, but the way he talked down to him makes him sound like a cocky *******.

Don't do that I don't wanna see you go down cause a lot of people got down this way...Just be that great producer. Like all these big time producers that are big just behind the scenes. That's who you are."
