I have always loved this beat (perhaps my all-time favorite) but until today I hadn't researched who produced it. This is my #1 all time Timbo beat even though dude has done plenty of my favorites. I would love if someone could try to remake it. Any takers!??

i honestly didnt go crazy over that beat, def not my favorite timbo beat!

I think danjahandz did it actually.

Yea. It wasn't Tim, but with that said it's on my top 10 beats ever list. It's just so clean. And I heard it was produced around the accapella, because the other beat that was gonna be used for the song didn't clear, but Banks didn't wanna record the vocals again.

That's NICE.

yea that beat was crazy, but i didn't like banks verses on there.

How come whenever Danja is credited, people automatically assume Tim just stamped his name on the track? Why is it so hard to believe it was a collaboration?

...because it's been noted as a str8 up danja production...it's not the case of it being stamped as a timbaland track..at least that's what i heard

i read sumwhere it wasnt even timbo OR danja..... it was like some other person..... i could b totally wrong

You probably read in Scratch Mag that Nottz produced it.....it said something about some carribean drums right?
When I had the original “I’m So Fly,” Nottz produced it. I couldn’t clear the sample. I had to take the acapella and send it to Timbaland, and he came back with the [official] “I’m So Fly” beat. It’s always good to have backup records.

Ah, ok. My bad. I don't have the credits, I just read that somewhere.

No question Timb produced it...its right here too in his discography:

nah, timb might have produced the vocals... Credits in cd bookets don't always tell the truth... (it can get political) Danja might have made the beat and agreed to take coproduction/keyboard credits...

I dont get it, everything points to Timbaland/Danja even the CD COVER! Why so much energy spent to disprove this?

Every1 in this thread needs to get off Timbaland's nuts

LOL, calm down guys, it's only Timbo.

IMO it sounds like Danja's drum work. But that's just me. Hot track nonetheless, and nothing we can't do years of practice wit some, couple hrs wit others. Remember not to awe those that you can match with the same dedication and mastering of your craft... :sing:
