Yep, back in the day you had to have Anita Baker, some Prince, some happy raps like Heavy D or something... but you had to keep your eye on the prize...

thats one of the things that i cant let slide dudes who purposely play music to accomodate females... had a friend who had specific mixes for when ******* were in the car and he HATED the music but put up with it shit baffled me

Damn now I hate that shit. That's why if you plan on having a relationship, you let girl know from the getting what youre into and what you cant stand and I find that if she likes you even a little. They will tend to stray away from what you dont care for and get into what you're into.

My girl used to love to be into that bullshit. Backstreet Boys, Brittany Spears, whatever. When we first started dating I told her how much I hate bubblegum music and introduced her to real Hip-hop. Jay, Kanye, Cole, Kendrick, Biggie, etc. And explained to her in all the ways it was better than that radio crap. Next thing you know, that ipod crashes and she gets a new. And I caught her listening to Late Registration and Friday Night Lights. Wouldnt you know that was one of the happiest moments of my relationship.

Yesterday she texted 5 in the morning telling me how much she liked the Otis single from Watch the Throne.

You cant get em all but at least put yours up on game. YOu never know. Women are some amazing things i tell you...
 
I was thinking about this new subject before the turn. I used to think like most y'all over 10 years ago about music and women. I got over 100,000 mp3s so I can adjust to any environment. If girls wanna hear Usher while I'm about to get laid or there are guys around but I'm still gonna get laid I'm doing it. I even got Thai and k-pop for the locals. Once went to YouTube and played some Buddhist music for a Chinese girl that couldn't speak English.

However, there is no reason you should be playing this alone or with dudes. Unless we are working together and making money, I'm picking the pussy music.
 
In the independent music scene, nobody pays for beats. As a producer, you would get something on the back end if there is something.

If thats a problem, then nobody talented will hop on your beat.

They won that showdown and they have market power.

In America, the artist "makes" the song a hit or not, and the actor makes the movie a hit or not. In other countries, where vocals take a backseat, the producer "makes" the track, and the film director makes the movie good.

Lol guys you make me laugh! Do you really think you need to play some shitty lame love songs ( cos I guess you're talkin about that..) to get a girl? It's like guys who think that because they have a mercedes they will get laid easily..... Not all the girls are like that. I won't get laid because the guy put some usher or something.... or because he has a big car ( I actually that all those guys in those big cars who look at us in the street thinking " yeah girls, I have a big car" are douchebags) ..... or maybe I'm just a weird girl.......

I actually would think that the guy has shit taste in music if he starts playing backstreet boys or britney spears... I would tell him "WTF is that music???are u gay??" lol
