Yo!
First, I must to say that my english is not very good, then,
many of you probably can't understand any **** of what I speak.
So, thanks for the 'kind words.' Moreover, I'm REALLY surprised.
I don't think the most important is appearance, at any time. and I want to clarify that I'm not a 'professional beatmaker. " I have another profession (i'm assistant photographer), and this is the biggest reason cause' not to update the myspace with new tracks and new beats.
My response is to "Deranged":
My beats are really simple. I still use large samples, like 'loops'.
but I DO IT ALONE. My friend, Dheeni, taught me to cut the samples and to use Fruity Loops.
And yes, he has a mpc 1000. And a few months ago, was teaching me to use it TOO.
Meanwhile, he uses veeery cut samples! he only uses slicer and that I still don't know very well use. Right?
I just want to make partnerships with mc's 'not well known', since I think they are good. Good peoples, fun people...
you quoted that: "could be using her as eyecandy to sell his tracks...or could be helping her make those."
hahaha...no, def NO. I don't sell my beats, dear.
if you were observant, you come to the conclusion that:
if my friend really wanted to sell his beats through me, my stuff would be MUCH better!
By the way, where did you read this? lol
If you could understand what is written 'about me' in myspace,
you could understand that I make beats just as a hobby, cause I love rap. just this.
Sometimes, my friends and I met and had fun doing the beats,
and this is the most important to me. but otherwise: each one makes his instrumental, alone! =)
Anyway, that's it. I'm recording a home video, where I make beats 'live' on fruity loops. Maybe, this can clarify some doubts like (brazilian) 'girls' can also love RAP. and DO rap.
Bye people..and thaaaaaaaaaanks!
Stay up,
Peace!
L.
