timbo and danja are on the Neko's.. check out Open Labs, and pull out your gold card.
which means they're using vsts.

yeah i think they're using the ReFX joints. heard a couple sounds in 'em that sound similar to songs that he's done.

How do you know Danja used a VST?

Anyways I dont think dude is trying to copy Danja's sounds, maybe its merely for educational purposes.

If I were you I would just play around with different VST's and try to recreate the sound just to learn in order to become a better producer.
Thank you.........why alot of people here want to preach all the time, instead of giving input when someone ask about sounds
Don't worry if they don't wanna make they own sounds and tweak and stuff.........if it ain't f&^#% up yo money, don't worry about another persons' reasoning

(more) On Topic:
Keri Hilson's - Happy Juice (henny and apple juice)....wow I like that beat!!!! I wish I knew what he using on that one! (I have no idea where to start)

B5 Teardrops, should be easier...sounds basic with sustain or longer release.....a synth/strings
Britney Spears, sounds like its basically a preset

They know alot more than me here......but atleast I tried to give you a little direction

another recommendation: search for the Youtube remake videos!

Here's One

(ill post more if you need)

Think outside of the box, for instance, they use alot of gated synths such as Vanguard or something like it, however, you dont have to just play blocked chords and let it ride!!! Play your chords, bounce it, reverse it and add fx, now your sounding REALLY interesting!!! Danja tends to use alot of Pads with spacey Fx and saw synths, alot of TB303 style synths. Every sound they use was used 20 years ago. From the 808 to the Tb303, Minimoog to the wavestation. You should be able to use ANY synth fambam! 1luv!

PS: Everything on my myspace page is Vsts, it's all in the progression and the mixing! God bless!!!

Let's think this out for a second....

What vsts do you use? What vsts do you like?

Average computer based producer is gonna have a ton s of vsts and pick whichever one matches what their doing, right?

That's your freaking 100% factual answer. He has at least 30-40 different vstis. He uses what fits.

Ask what vsts Xabition, Komplex, deRaNged, or any other FP member uses. We're all doing the same sh*t, he's just a little further up on the radar.

Everytime you hear a choir on a Timbo record, you guys say "he uses Eastwest Choirs", you act like he don't also got Magnus, voice of the apocalypse, miroslave choirs, record samples, live vocalists. Stop trying to pinpoint the instrument. Learn your libraries and you'll realize you can get the same sound from multiple instruments. Therefore, the question of "what producer blah uses becomes irrelevant.

Neko's didn't exsist for most of Timbo's career, so how can they be any type of secret weapon?

I saw him using the Multi-Platinum-Beatmaker VST with Top Ten Hits only Presets. Top producers always have access to that type of programmes

u cats kill me with this ish come on man be yaself be original it dosent matter what he uses cause he uses it in his own unique way even if u had what he had your not gonna make the same flames dat he does so why even wanna ask dat.

c'mon. I dont think most people want to sound like someone else. They might have a favorite beatmaker and love the sounds they use. For example if you heard dre's G'd up beat he did fo G-unit and wanted to know what he used for thay guitar(whether sampled, softsynth, hardsynth,or live) because you wanted to kill that in a whole new way. or like the other dude said it could be for educational purposes. I personally love tim's kicks, so when I see vids of him in the studio or hear a beat by him sometimes I pay close attention to try and emulate hs kicks, then after I see some methods I take those and go in my own DIFFERENT direction. I dont want to be like tim or dre, I just may get inspired by something they do and want to utilize it with my own flavor. it's the same as sampling, get inspired run with it!

there´s a new Beatclub ( Timbo´s camp name ) Vst over at that plugsite and is designed by Timbo & Danja and has all the presets from britney´s , justin´s , furtado´s and other tracks.
Check it out.I Think it´s called

WTF do you think it's called?! lol if that's true I'm DEFINITELY paying for it...
