I feel the same way, now dont get me wrong some down south artist are nice... But fools like D4L and Dem Franchise boys just suck something awful and hip hop is steadily going down...
 
I don't even pay attention to radio trends anymore. I just listen to the tracks and just vibe out.

I don't listen to radio unless I'm on the road in the morning... the early shows and midday old school mixes are cool wit me. Otherwise it's DOB's Playlist which includes: Little Brother, Kanye West and various other hip-hop/R&B selections. Yup, that good ole hip-hop and R&B.
 
there are so many statements in this thread that offends me to the point I won't respond...But, when I consider the source of some of the statements, its kinda expected...If I had it my way I would tie ya'll down and lock yall in a room with D4l an Da franchise faggots and have the music play 24-7 at a real low volume over and over like chinese water torture...go talk techno in the techno forum...if you don't like what techno has to offer, don't come over blaming the south for ruining hip-hop...the people making the decisions at the labels are f^cks that listen to techno and hip-hop and whatever else is in and think they know what good hip-hop, excuse me, rap music is...tell outkast they aint hip hop either...last time I checked they sold more than anyone considered real hip-hop in the last 4 yrs, including jay-z...get lost clowns...

Hater has to be the most overused word nowadays. If music sucks, its ok to hate it. Most southern hip hop (yes thats what box the d4l and franchise boys and lil jon get thrown in, sub-genres of hip hop or not) is garbage. And garbage on a level unmatched until the hyphy "movement" *snickers*

Anyways....remember when the video of BIG killing that dude in a battle was posted yesterday? I'd like to see a video of a southern "legend" doing that. since you said they would kill anyone on the mike and all.
