50 Cent can throw out the Gangsta image because it works for him, if it worked for you, you would do it to. Also as Mentioned.. Pac was Gangsta no doubt, but he also threw out the image and you cannot say that he didnt. if you want to know about a truly gangsta artist listen to Daz Dillinger, he's gangsta hes still out on the streets doin his thing, even if he is rich, he still stays true to what he came from. True Gangsta Rappers are not the ones who have made a big name for themselfs, Gangsta rappers are still underground releasing music in their general area.

People like Ja Rule are not Gangsta's Ja Rule is a fake ass 2Pac immitation, sure there may be people in Murder Inc who are hard, but there front men like Ja are nothing but Coward ass bitches. If you want True gangsta rap (And this is my opinion) listen to Underground bay area rap, things you dont hear everyday. then you will know True Gangsta Rap.

well i dont think 50 cent is a pu$$y. i mean he has gone thru alot and he is just the product of his enviornment really. i mean most musians put up an image so that pppl dont take them for granted or think that their easy to push over. they always talk about the sex and drih\gs and vioelnce and stuff but i think it is VERY EXAGGERATED. yes musicians do have alot of sex but the way they talk about it sounds like they never stop. if someone had that much sex they wouldnt beable to do anything else in their life( lol). and who says most the gurls they do screw are hot? same with drugs they wouldnt be alive if they did drugs as much as they said they did. or they would be but it would be their whole lives. no time to do anything else. so they exaggerate things. they exaggerate the vioelnece also . b/c their is no way u can wear a vest all the time. i mean does 50 cent have sex with the vest on or sumthin? lol . so its an exageration. atleast n my opinion .

First check your definition of gangsta. Gangstas dont make records & brag about their crimes on wax,. If you doing major dirt, why would you want to attract attention from law enforcement. Gangsters are the wrong folks to emulate. They usually wind up dead or in prison and broke with nothing but old stories to tell.50 should use Pac as a lesson. Anyone who glorifies violence and guns is phony & ignorant to me. Self Defense is the only justifiable means of using a gun as far as I am concerned. Daz is not that hard as you think. Daz is a married man getting his independent grind on. He aint in the streets banging. He disses folks then backs down when they respond.

As for gangster Rappers writing about there own Criminal Exploits Listen to Mac Dre's Rompilation album, He rapps about Robbing the first nation bank in Vallejo with the Romp-a-Room Gang. So You Can't Say they dont Rap about there Crimes. Sure Daz is Happily married, But that does not mean he still aint Affiliated.
Gangstas rap, and you cannot say they dont, Look at the Damru Ridaz and the Nation wide Rip ridaz more commonly known as the Bloods&crips. so dont Tell me that Gangstas don't rap.
