Aite, so i finally copped the axiom 25 2nd gen installed my drivers and hooked it up to FL Studio. Of course it worked like a regular midi controller. Did My research on youtube, and found out what i need to get the rest of my features working, but the only problem is..all that shit was for the 1st gen axiom 25, the enigma program and all that. So i went to the m-audio site, went thru the FAQ and seen everybody else with this problem and no solutions. So of course i'm here trying to find out if there are any driver updates for FL Studio on the axiom 25 2nd gen, or do i need to jus try to program the features by hand or what? shit is crazy i'd hate to send it back, and im not going to stop ****ing wit FL Studio sooo..lol..any advice.

Run Down- Axiom 25 2nd Gen knobs and buttons are not working with my FL Studio.

So when you move the control on your axiom, FL doesn't recognize it at all? there's a small indicator to the left of the master volume knob at the top of the FL interface that indicates MIDI activity, it will show orange when receiving MIDI data that it is set up to use, like note data, and green when it receives a message that has not been assigned to a specific parameter in FL studio, which by default is pretty much any CC message.

yeah i peeped that. I checked out the enigma program that works for the 1st gen, and it doesnt recognize my keyboard either. FL does give me the orange light, but i'm thinkin there is or will be (hopefully) another program like enigma to sync my axiom to FL studio. it doesnt seen like its going to be possible to manually sync and assign the knobs and pads. i can use the pads but i cant asssign diff samples to them. the knobs and play buttons and stuff dont work at all tho. just gettin the orange light

Is this the G2 V2? I'm looking into buying that, but if it's hard to sync with FL, I can't use it.

i got the oxygen49 and its not really pre-programmed but its quite easy to get the knobs and sliders functional. is this your first midi controller that youve run through fl studio? if not then sorry if anythng i say seems basic, but usually its just the basic stuff thats really the problem. when you go into your midi settings if your controller isnt listed in "input" window then none of this will work so check that first. (and output window). if it is listed in your window then you just need to get it enabled. check the box that says auto accept detected controller... make sure its enabled. the drop down menu for "controller type" probably wont show your keyboard but it isnt necessary. just choose generic controller. its better that way anyways. you probably dont want all your knobs and sliders pre-arranged for you. if the axiom has knobs and sliders, i cant remember. while your in your midi settings turn your axiom off for a second then turn it back on, wait a few seconds and click the button in fl that says re-scan midi devices. if your axiom shows up in the input and output window you should be all set. it should be fully functional. now all you gotta do is assign your knobs and sliders(if available), which is easy. right click on any knob or slider in fl studio and select link to controller, enable auto detect, then move the slider on your axiom that you want to designate for the slider in fl.
hint: selecting omni while your about to link a controller in fl is very helpful. that way, one axiom slider controls the same parameters for whichever channel you have selected in fl studio. for instance, if i select omni as im linking a controller for the channel volume on my kick, it will also adjust the volume on my snare when my snare is selected. i hope this helps

oh i forgot to mention, most likely your transport buttons on your axiom wont work in fl studio. theres a simple fix for that though, just google transport buttons m audio fl studio and theres a bunch of youtube videos that show you how to do it. if you need help with that also just respond to this. good luck

doh, i forgot... in midi settings you also need to click on the axiom in your input window and with your axiom selected make sure the "enable" box is highlighted. the output window doesnt really matter(for me anyways)
