Tell me straight up - are my beats trash? (EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED)

Just over 3 years making beats using Logic Pro now ... pretty much no placements under my belt. Have sent beats to artists big and small, dozens, possibly hundreds of times - no one bites. In the process of getting an online beatstore right now, but no point if my sound is garbage. I want honesty - just tell me straight up whether I should quit or not. YouTube

fk those guys! It's good stuff, you've put lots of work in but could be punchier, tighter. Are you sidechaining kick? What is your motivation though? Why are you sending stuff to others instead of making stuff for yourself? 3 years isn't a long time to be making music with no success. just keep going, you can only get better!

I dunno I go into every beat EXPLICITLY thinking 'will this be the beat where my 808s and kicks HIT' and it STILL always come out sounding tiny...really starting to piss me off. Despite watching tutorials on Logic Pro mixing, compression, and even being lent a hand by an engineer in real life, I still can never seem to get it. Seems so much easier to get a thumping mix on FL FUCK

This works in ableton:
big sine or 808: saturate drive about 5db, roll off eq to almost all the top frequencies, add same fx again to chain if still not warm enough. compress 3 to5:1 and use kick as sidechain trigger.
Make sure they are in tune and roll off kick frequency under 100hz and top end to get it to sit clearly when it ducks the bass...will pm you my soundcloud links if you want to hear how it works for me....
