Synthesizer question

Hello.
I'm kinda new at synthesizing and i have a question for you pros:
I own a Nord Lead 2x. I was just wondering, when i make new sounds i like a specific effect:
I like when the LFO rate lowers/raises when you trigger a note.
For example, I would put an LFO to my AMP, making the Tremolo effect. Now say that i wanted the Tremolo rate to get faster when i hold the note. I currently do this by simply turning the rate knob. But if i want to play with both hands, this is a problem. It is also a problem that it does not retrigger the LFO rate any time i play a new key. Is there anyway I can make the keyboard changing the rate of the LFO automaticly? Like an envelope you put on the LFOs?
thanks.

I have the NL3, which has LFO1 as one of the destinations for the mod envelope - so this is really simple. The 2X is more limited in the mod destinations, I think...so the mod wheel might be your best bet in the regard.

Well, I've heard a lot of people say that they think the NL2 sounds better than 3, so don't be in despair :) The NL2 is still a great synth - and NL3s tend to be on the expensive side nowadays.
