Styles P new album "Time is Money" has to be one of the most under-rated album I heard in a minute. I know that it's hard to get attention now in the wake of Jay-Z and Nas both dropping, and every other artist in the biz, but Styles P "Time is Money" is a really Hot album. Styles isn't Playing when he puts himself in the top 5. Lyrically, not many cant bang with Styles P. He mixes deep lyrics & street style with some hard beats underneath. He also has some nice collabs including Talib Kweli, Gerald Levert, the LOX, ....and more.
There's so many albums dropping around the Holiday Time, but make sure you go buy this one.

I was looking forward to the album but if im hones i just wasn't feelin it.

did you hear the first track of the album? - "G Joint"? I don't know who produced that but he fuked up trying to flip that sample, someone else could've totally killed that beat. Other than that, "Testify" ft Kweli, "How We Live" prod. by Havoc, and two other ones really stand out. Even though Swizz Beatz's annoying ass was all over "Who Want a Problem," Jada's verse was great. I'd say Jada's voice is one of the few that can ride a swizz beatz track without letting swizz beatz himself kill the hook and the whole song.

styles p has always been underated. i personally think dude just needs more ill beats. He definetly did justice to the couple of ill beats he had on the album(like the one havoc produced), but he just didn't have enough beats to make his album as bangin as it could have been.

Already bought it legit. It's right up there in the top 3 of this year.

the whole cd was sick.beats, lyrics all that.the only thing I think couldve been better was the amount of songs.i was wanting to hear more.

I WANT A LOX ALBUM! WITH THE OLD GRIMEY ASS RUFF RYDER BEATS!

Styles P is criminally underrated. Those Ghost mixtapes are better than most albums dropped in recent years.

He should get more credit as a solo artist, this is only his second album, and Styles P is already a Hip hop Legend.

Question? Dose or did Styles P ever ghost write for Jada?

I actually thought Time Is Money was better than Hip Hop Is Dead. I bought both on the same day and Nas wasn't bad but I expected more, especially a bunch of Premier-type tracks especially if you're going to call it Hip Hop Is Dead, right? And maybe even Large Pro...

As a side note, I thought Jae Hood really stepped up his rapping on G Joint. I remember when he did that long rap on Hot97's Clue show on the 1900 Hustler and Knock Yourself Out beats and he was spitting some nice multisylable rhymes - he went back to that. And that Van Damme line had me going crazy... I'm a big fan. haha

I agree, I think Styles P "Time is Money" slipped in at the and of the year as the best album of the year. It also called out anyone who calls themselves the "Top 5", and I think he can bang with any of the "Top 5", including BIG, Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, and Eminem.

I'm sure he has, you can hear it in a lot of Jada's rhymes. Jada's trademark has been his voice, not his lyrics, but his lyrics are tight.

did you all read that he had a road rage incident recently where he cut off the truck driver that cut him off and got out ran up on hommie and threw some napkins at him? funny part is dude then rammed him with his truck breaking the Ghosts leg lol. first he stabbed someone in their a$$ now this. P has some odd situations MTV needs to do a "day in the life of Styles P" show.

Yo, Styles P's album sales are upsetting.

The total number of sales were: 67,412. Unnecessary.

I believe what contributed to this was the lack of promotion. But I just don't get it. Why wouldn't they want to promote his album?

Good luck with that... Im a J-Hood fan too but I think he fell off a little... The first time I heard him was on the Kiss The Game Goodbye cd, then after that it was J-Hood Tales From The Hood Comin Soon... IVE BEEN WAITIN FOR ATLEAST 5 YEARS, I dont think we'll be seein that for a while... oh yea STYLES IS ONE OF THE BEST, HANDS DOWN

Time is Money is good but Gangster and A Gentlemen is far better. He should have another album out quite soon (I read that in an interview, can't remember which one).

As for Jae Hood, his album won't get released. Styles said in a interview that it will be released sometime in 2008 (yeah right) lol.
