Hey all, I'm trying to arrange my room to the best of its acoustic abilities.
I'm trying to find a place to put my monitors and at what height.
My room is 7' 9.5''.
Here is a floor plan of my room:

Although now that I'm thinking about it, I'll just put the large piano on the wall with the door and just have a workdesk ( which would include midi keyboard/controller, etc) around my computer setup.
Is that the best place to setup audio monitors? Should I have my setup against a long wall or a short wall? Also how how do you think they should sit knowing the height of the room. Also, I'm building audio monitor stands out of wood and putting isolation pads on top; should this be sufficient? Is wood a bad material to use?
