What speakers? Passive or active? If your speakers are distorting that you're, a.) using crappy speakers, b.) doing something very wrong, or c.) mixing WAAAAY too much low end.



Completely untrue. High SPL's will cause hearing lost regardless of the source emitter.

i know tht loud noises damage ur hearing no matter where it comes from.. im just talkin bout the pain u get in ur ears after wearing the headphones for too long

and about the first part, idk wat im doin.. i assume "c" and im using the speakers tht go to my stereo set (its a panasonic SA-AK12) and i've never switched bak to headphones yet
