The vestax vs. stanton debate is one that I find pretty funny, since they basically used to be the same company. The SK-2 is almost an EXACT copy of the 05, and the SK2F is the same mixer as that but with more features.
When you get right down to it the 05 is an outdated design, lacking a lot of the advancements that have come out recently. If you really want a pro mixer, buy the Ecler HAK 320 - it makes anything by vestax or stanton look like complete ****.
Another really bad thing about the 05 is that except that it has a mic input, it's EXACTLY THE SAME as the 06, which is way cheaper. NO DIFFERENCE, except the looks and the price. That makes the 05 a bit of a ripoff.
