alright, before i get caught up in all this bull**** im gonna respond without looking at what these clowns dun posted.

Jay-z had a classic with The Blueprint because it was nice, he had no snare rolls,it was the lyrics, it was the perfect blend of kanye and just's production with thought-provoking lyrics. It was CREATIVENESS. Back when people used to be creative with their music... cats didn't care if it appealed to the masses they just did what they did and it was either hit or miss... the real dudes would feel it and the bustas wouldnt.

NOW, its like, EVERYBODY is sposed to feel you when you release your one single, and artists are selling out to people they did'nt give a **** about before. So, excuse my hostility but **** the industry and all you new cats...

man this thread is extra lame...being born and raised in the south, and personally listening to 95% "east coast" music, or whatever name you choose to generalize it as, and considering the south is technically east coast, i can surely say you have the illest of emcees from down south, as well as up north, and you have the WACKEST of rappers in both places...all this scrutiny does nothing but support the cliche statement, "HIP HOP IS DEAD". I sure dont think it is, but this thread, and some of the wack statements dont make it any better. another thing? exactly what establishes a southern from a northern emcee anyway? Cunninglyguist are from the south...but are "typical of northern hiphop" or whatever you want to call it. im just making this worse...im gone. peace.
