Sounds better outside booth

I dunno what it is, but for some reason the music sounds better when I record music outside the booth than inside. I've tested this and it never fails. Maybe this is because of the design of the room

The reason for this is the science behind how mics work, air flow is a key component. They toughed us at Full Sail that the the room being to small is never a good thing. The more open the space, along with proper treatment the more likely you are to get a clean sound.
